St. Cloud Counseling

Inspire Counseling Center in St. Cloud offers a diverse range of services including psychiatric evaluations, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) using Vivitrol or Suboxone in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral health services, substance use and substance dependence evaluations, and psychological testing.

We are experienced in treating depression, substance abuse, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Because we offer individual, group and family counseling, we can tailor your mental health needs in a way that will best restore your health and self-esteem. We believe in a personalized approach and work to help you achieve your goals. Our licensed counselors will work with you to individualize your treatment and optimize your recovery.

We offer both inpatient and outpatient treatment options at our St. Cloud Counseling Center, including our Women’s Partial Hospitalization Program with room and board.

Our behavioral health services are available for children (seven years and older), adolescents and adults. We’re proud to serve a diverse range of individuals including veterans, families and individuals recently released from the justice system.

We work closely with several agencies throughout the state of Florida, including the Department of Children and Families and the 9th Judicial Circuit. We are a contracted provider for the Florida Safety Council. We work with children who are experiencing challenges in school and other behavioral issues. With therapy customized for children, our techniques will help your child learn to be more aware of their feelings and understand how their emotions and thoughts can directly affect their behavior. We aim to equip children with strategies to control, process and handle their emotions constructively.

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Jaymes Gonzales

Dr. Jaymes Gonzales is a Licensed Psychologist and graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage-Fairbanks Clinical-Community Psychology Ph.D. program. He has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families over a 15-year career that includes a variety of inpatient and outpatient service settings. His professional special interests include phase of life transitions, identity development and change, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), premarital counseling, court ordered treatment, gender-rooted clinical issues and role demands, and working with LGBTQ-identifying individuals. In addition to psychotherapy and clinical assessment, he is experienced in providing clinical supervision, individual and agency-level consultation, teaching university psychology courses, program development and management, cross-cultural service provision, rural and remote-rural service development and delivery, and telehealth services. His research areas of interest include cultural and personal identity development, identity changes throughout the lifespan, healthcare access, and the use of technology in clinical service delivery. Outside of work, Jaymes enjoys kayaking, hiking, snowboarding, camping, playing soccer, and is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan.
