Inspire Counseling Center Kissimmee

Inspire Counseling Center in Kissimmee offers a diverse range of services including psychiatric evaluations, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) using Vivitrol or Suboxone in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral health services, substance use and substance dependence evaluations, and psychological testing.

Individual and group therapy is available with our certified and licensed counselors.

We are experienced in treating depression, substance abuse, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Because we offer individual, group and family counseling, we can tailor your mental health needs in a way that will best restore your health and self-esteem. We believe in a personalized approach and work to help you achieve your goals. Our licensed counselors will work with you to individualize your treatment and optimize your recovery.

Behavioral health services are available for children (seven years and older), adolescents and adults. All of our services are available in both English and Spanish.

We work closely with several agencies throughout the state of Florida, including the Department of Children and Families and the 9th Judicial Circuit. We are a contracted provider for the Florida Safety Council.

Stephanie Minarik

Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology from King’s College in Pennsylvania, where she worked in Quakertown as a supervisor for an off-site residential home. In 2014, she graduated with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Troy University and continued her work doing individual and family counseling before joining The Transition House. Ms. Minarik is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (ACBIS) and is SOAR Trained to work with patients who are homeless or at risk for homelessness. Other certifications include Mental Health First Aid, Couples Counseling, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma, Batterer’s Intervention/Domestic Violence, Substance Use, and Parenting. Her treatment specialties include assessment and treatment planning, evaluations, crisis intervention and dual diagnosis, individual and group counseling for adolescents, adults, couples, and families; treatment for Trauma/PTSD/Grief, Depression, Suicide risk, Anxiety, Bipolar, Dissociative Disorders, LBGTQ, Gender Identity, Domestic Violence, Batterer’s Intervention, Parenting, Dual Diagnosis, Addiction/Substance Use, Anger, and Family/Marriage/Couples. She is experienced in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys watching sports, spending time with her family, being outdoors, and traveling.

My experience in family therapy, adolescence counseling, substance abuse therapy as
well as focusing on dual diagnoses over the past 15 plus years has
prepared me to help you. 
My passion is helping individuals and families rediscover who they are by
breaking down their diagnoses and recognizing trauma. Currently I work in
an outpatient setting primarily with individuals struggling with mental health clinical diagnosis, such as bi-polar, depression, and schizophrenia. I also treat adults and children with autism and other developmental disorders. 
My hands on approach and being bilingual, Spanish speaking, allows me to
build a stronger connection with clients.

I enjoy working in mental health/substance abuse field because it has exposed me to working with a diverse population, which allows me to learn and continue to educate myself about cultures, behaviors, and lifestyles. I enjoy assisting people on their mental health journey. Inspire counseling provides wrap around services for their clientele. Providing sustainable services, provides the clientele with a built-in support system which is imperative to recovery. Being a helper is a self-rewarding experience that I genuinely enjoy.

I’m a Targeted Case Manager, specializing in clients that are homeless or at risk of being homeless. I help clients obtain and maintain housing and financial stability by providing additional resources and support while working towards improving their quality of life. 
My background includes over 10 years of working with clients from the Department of Corrections, Department of Mental Health, the Division of Family Services, and the Family Treatment Court Program. My experience has shown me how much courage it takes for people to ask for help. And that’s why I’m here. 
I enjoy spending time with my family, going to vintage car shows, and getting creative with some crafts. But helping others is my biggest passion. In the words of the brave Helen Keller. “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”

Active Parenting Now© Classes

TTHI Counseling Center now offers Active Parenting Now© classes at our counseling center in Kissimmee, Florida.

Active Parenting Now© is a six-week long series of classes designed to serve parents of young children, ages 5-12. These classes are offered in a closed group setting where participants will view videos of diverse families and receive information and training on effective parenting skills. The program is designed in such a way that even parents who have low reading skills are able to benefit and complete the program successfully.

If you meet any of the following criteria or if you would like to learn effective parenting skills, consider attending the Active Parenting Now© classes:
Your child is deaf
Your child has ADHD
You have been ordered by a court to take parent education
You are a parent that has recently been released from a correctional institution
You have a child or teen who was recently hospitalized
Active Parenting Now© classes are offered at TTHI Counseling Center in Kissimmee, Florida in both English and Spanish. The program lasts for six weeks and classes are taken consecutively. Each class is two hours long and includes informational guides, activities and other resources you can use at home. The cost of each class is $35.
